NEXO speakers help the 2020 "Cloud" graduation ceremony of Renmin University of China

On the morning of June 30th, the 2020 graduation ceremony of Renmin University of China was held in Mingde Square. All the graduates of the class of 2020, more than 100 teachers' representatives, alumni representatives and more than 7700 graduates gathered in the clouds with the theme of "Mission striving with me on the shoulder-illuminating the common belief that the campaign generation will remember for a lifetime".

The "cloud graduation ceremony" is broadcast live in both Chinese and English on dozens of mainstream media platforms around the world. As the main loudspeaker, NEXO speakers are deployed on both sides of the stage to witness this special graduation ceremony with the vast number of graduates.

Because the site is outdoors and wants to be easily deployed, the site uses a lightweight and simple modular STM M28 full-frequency speaker to form a linear array as the main sound reinforcement. The biggest feature of M28 is the combined use, for different sites, by increasing or decreasing the number to meet the needs of the site sound pressure. With the pin buckle design between the two pairs, a single person can complete the assembly and hanging to meet the needs of rapid installation and disassembly.

The STM M28 has two 8-inch low-frequency units and two 2.5-inch high-frequency voice coils that can make the peak sound pressure reach an astonishing 141dB, which performs well in the frequency response 65Hz-19kHz. With STM S118 ultra-low frequency speakers (18-inch low-frequency drive unit, peak sound pressure up to 143dB). Reduce the frequency response range to 27Hz to meet the ultra-low frequency demand and make the human voice feel more natural and plump. The whole sound system is powered by two NEXO NXAMP4x4 power amplifiers with TD processors.
