NEXO GEO-M10 linear speakers are used in the auditorium of Savoy World Expo.

The Savoy World Expo Auditorium has installed a NEXO sound reinforcement system in its new auditorium, and large-scale live events are expected to resume in 2021. This is a positive signal for the French exhibition and conference industry.

The Savoy Expo is located in Cham Berry in the heart of the Alps, the second tourist area in France. With a great location, close to Lyon and Geneva, and closely linked to winter sports and summer entertainment, the venue also organizes a series of trade fairs and hosts large-scale seminars and ordinary conferences.

Hall E, which opened earlier this year, is a multi-functional auditorium with an exhibition area of 2000 square meters, conference facilities that can accommodate 1000 people, or a dinner party for 1200 people. The auditorium is equipped with retractable seats and needs an audio system that can adapt to different configurations. Christopher Gilles, a NEXO engineering support expert, came to Chamberry to fine-tune the system. "We asked the system to work in three different ways, so we finally adjusted these settings through the meeting. In the first configuration, we set the stage directly in front of the seating grandstand; in the second configuration, the stage is set further away, but the audience is still sitting in the grandstand. In the third configuration, there are no seats and the audience stands in a large free area. In order to realize the transformation of these three configurations, all speakers of the sound reinforcement system need to be movable, with a special square truss hanging ultra-low frequency speakers and hanging P8 as a supplementary sound. The GEO M10 line array is suspended from the points in front of the truss, which can also be moved. "

Each group of NEXO medium GEO M10 deployed 5 M1012 plus 1 M1025 (120 °diffusion). The left / right linear arrays are equipped with the same series of subwoofer MSUB15, and they are hung behind the main line array, showing a very neat aesthetic. A pair of NEXO compact point source P8 (100 °x 100 °diffusion) is used as external supplementary sound, and a P8 (110 °x 60 °diffusion) is placed in the middle as the central supplementary sound. The whole system is powered by two NXAMP4x2Mk2 amplifiers.
